The word Tyrant comes from latin which is Tyranous which means illegitimate ruler, or sovereign master. Believe it or not tyranny rose in many greek states and was actually a government that was voted in by the community (mostly the peasants). The only reason tyranny lasted for so long was because tyrants gave land to the peasants (by taking it from the rich I might add). Tyrant have the "robin hood affect" on / for the poor. In order for a tyrant to become the leader of the society they would have to promise 2 of 3 things to the poor. I know what your thinking, you're like "So the Tyrants are bribing the poor to become leader?" That's exactly what I'm saying. Its literally crazy thought, like jut mind blowing. Tyrants promised
-a cancellation of all debts
-abolation of taxes for the poor
-re-distributio of land
which means they take money from the aristocrats and give it to the poor
I've got to make a hashtag. #Tyrants hate the rich, #Tyrants love the poor
What's awesome about Tyrants is that they don't have to be a part of the royal bloodline (which means they don't have to be rich or a son of the kings/queens).
